Unlock the full potential of colored pencils with local artist and educator Melinda Linn in this fun and engaging introductory class! Learn essential color and value terms, explore the magic of the color wheel, and master blending techniques to bring your drawings to life. Through hands-on practice, you'll develop the skills to layer, shade, and create rich colors—culminating in your very own colored pencil masterpiece. You’ll also have the opportunity to exhibit your work to the general public at our Pop-Up Art Show, which will take place inside the library on Friday, November 8th from noon to 2:00 PM. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class is the perfect way to add color to your artistic journey. Come create with us!
This workshop is part of the Teton County Library's Creating Aging Programming Series and is only open to adult patrons 55 years of age and older.
