Event Details

Women of the Westis the first episode of the Most Dangerous Women documentary series. This beginning segment, filmed mainly in Wyoming, is based on often untold stories of historic and contemporary leaders, charting a continuous path towards equality, social justice and peace.

Most Dangerous Women documentary series presents the often untold and little-known stories of women change makers who were and are still often labeled dangerous, yet whose resilient persistence has been and continues to be essential in creating positive change. Community building is the heart of the series, aiming to bring a diverse range of people into dialogue to respect differing opinions while discovering commonality through engaging around the stories. A major goal is to rediscover/reclaim stories of historic and contemporary dangerous women.

This program has been made possible through a grant from Wyoming Humanities.
