Whether you are looking for a computer for yourself, for someone else, or for a business, we will be covering the basics everyone should consider before buying. We will cover the specifications of a computer (CPU, GPU, Memory, Storage, etc.), the differences between them and how each affects your use of a computer. We will also cover how to determine what minimum computer requirements you will need for what you plan to do with your computer and what optional features you will not need for performance, but you might want. Finally, we will cover the different brand options, the difference between marketing terms (such as gaming PC vs business PC) and how to search for refurbished computer, used computers, and deals safely on the internet. We will end with a Q&A where you are welcome to bring specific examples for us to discuss or ask clarifying questions.

Jack Graig-Tiso was born in Cooperstown, NY and lived there until his sophomore year in high school when he moved to Jackson Hole. During college, Jack took a temporary job working at the Jackson Hole Computer Clinic (JHCC) that turned into a permanent job with the onset of COVID. Almost 6 years later, Jack is now the head Technician and Manager of JHCC, working with people to fix their computer issues and other electronic problems.
