Join us for an evening birding Teton County, Idaho without leaving the Library! On Jan 1, 2022, Hilary Turner decided she would attempt a Big Year in Teton County, ID. Teton County is an underbirded county that exists on the border of Idaho and Wyoming in the shadow of the Grand Tetons. It is a difficult place to bird. The severe weather, native carnivores, and intense mountains made it a year to remember! Hilary searched high and low for every bird species she could find for one calendar year. Join us on June 13 to hear about her bird-brained endeavor and some of her accomplishments from the year.
Hilary is the Program Coordinator for the Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation and lives in the Teton Valley of eastern Idaho, where, as you can guess, she is frequently always found birding in her spare time.
