Program Description

Event Details

Do you like DnD? Build your own world with Kids on Bikes, a story focused DnD alternative. Expect to roll dice, create a character, encounter monsters, and solve mysteries. Grades 9-12! Registration is required for each event.

Like Dungeons, Kids on Bikes is a pencil-and-paper role playing game. Students will create characters and role-play as those characters while they navigate a storyline filled with adventure and challenges. Students not only learn how to work together as a team but are constantly practicing their math and reading skills as they calculate what decision to make in the story. Playing Dungeons and Dragons and similar collaborative games is not only a great way to make new friends, but a great way to grow as a person. Role playing forces students to see the world from a new perspective, which in turn, gives them more tools to navigate the real world.
